You thought packet radio died long ago?

Well it’s back and transmitting packets to Northumberland. There has been a recent resurgence in packet radio, chiefly driven by the availability of an easy build KISS

terminal device and faster software. See https://guide.hibbian.org/ for a super getting started guide.

GB7AAX is a Raspberry Pi single board computer running a version of BPQ software (written and maintained by John G8BPQ) connected to a NinoTNC (developed and designed by Nino KK4HEJ and Tadd KA2DEW) which then drives a Tait TM8110 connected to our roof mounted co-linear antenna.

Do you have a Packet TNC sitting n

eglected in your shack and want

 to give it a go?
